Added strength training to my workout
After doing cardio for two weeks, I decided it was time to add some strength training to my workout. I don't want to get any flabbier than I already am as I lose weight.
I met with a trainer tonight at the gym and she proceded to walk me thru several of the machines. I am to work my legs, arms and abs. I can already feel it and I know I am going to be sore tomorrow.
I was planning on doing strength training 3 days a week and cardio the other 3 days a week, with Sunday off. She told me different. I am to do cardio every day, but only 1/2 hour on the days I do my strength training.
I am also switching the time I go to the gym. I am going to start getting up at 5:00 a.m. and go to the gym in the mornings. Hubby is up at that time and getting ready for work. I lose to much time in the evenings when I go after work.
