Where did the weekend go?

Oh, I remember now....it was spent recovering from a night out on the town with girlfriends, somthing I have not done since we moved back to my hometown.

Friday night, Audra called me and asked if I wanted to go out with them. I didn't even stop to think and said "yes". She said "Are you going to ask John if you can go?" I said, "No, why should I?"

So she came and got me, we rounded up the rest of the girls and headed to a bar in town. We were the first ones there, so we had the attention of the band the whole night. It was pretty cool.

I don't drink very often and I really tied one on Friday. Tequila and Jagermeister to not mix well with beer. But I had a good time and I am sure I was the nights entertainment.

Saturday I slept in late and felt pretty crummy all day. I did manage to order pizza for me and John. Ended up stitching some and napping a lot.

Today I feel better. Ended up watching football all day with John. Had to help Grandma purchase an airline online, did a little grocery shopping and picked Jessica up from her friends.

I am now watching the Pats play the Bills. While I do a little more stitching. GO PATS!!!!!

Just another night...

...it has turned out to be. Hubby and I are home alone. Daughter has gone of to church.

I put the makings for beef stew in the crock pot this morning. So we came home from work to a wonderful smelling house. Also, the heat was working. Yeah!! We've been without heat for 2 days.

So we settled in for stew and to watch "Million Dollar Baby". I of course have been stitching so I don't fall asleep, which I tend to do when not actively doing something.

I had an appointment with a "sleep" doctor today. I am all set up to go for a sleep study the Sunday after Thanksgiving. This is to determine if I have sleep apnea. Hopefully this will be the first step to fix whatever is making me sooooo tired all the time.

Hey All!

Not much going on. I actually picked up a needle and stitched some the other day.

Jessica and I spent Saturday in Huntsville. We were shopping for formals for her graduation from Modeling School. They are doing a fashion show and one of the three outfits has to be a formal. We brought home 2 really cute dresses, she has to pick one. She looks so grown up.

We also went to see "Elizabethtown" with Kirsten Dunst and Orlando Bloom. It was not what I expected, but it was a good movie.

We also watched "Constatine" with Keanu Reeves and Rachel Weis. It was really good.

Tonight we are settling in to watch "Kingdom of Heaven" which came in the mail today from Netflix.

See ya next time.

Long time...

...I know, it's been a very long time. I go to work and come home. That's about all that is happening in my life.

I have not been very crafty lately. No stitching, crocheting or knitting. I have been reading quit a bit and probably sleeping even more. I did get hubby hooked on Texas Hold' Em on Pogo, so we've been playing that.

It is so funny to see him in his chair with his laptop and me at the desk on the PC, playing cards against one another.

I did go see "Steel Magnolias" at the local community theater. It was really good, of course I was crying before it even got half way thru.

I think I'm going to watch the rest of the football game and then turn in.
