Sick!!

I left work early today, because I felt sick. Stomach virus sick! Yuck!!! I really have to much work to do before January 31st. I really didn't want to pass on the sickness to all the other folks at work.

Jessica had a stomach virus on Monday, so I guess she has passed it on to me.

Today was a blah day. I got up at 9:oo but laid on the couch snoozing until 10:00 then got in the shower.

I took Mom and Grandma to the Lodge at Lake Guntersville State Park for lunch. The lodge has been closed for about 4 years undergoing major renovations. It looks really nice but the dining room service needs a lot of work. We had to continually hunt down our server for refills on coffee and tea.

After coming home from lunch it has been a day of laying on the couch sleeping. I probably won't sleep tonight.

I hate days when I cannot get in the mood to do anything.

Work tomorrow. More year end stuff. Yuck!!!

The difference a year makes...

not much. I cannot believe it has been exactly one year since I have posted last. I guess that goes to prove that I don't have a very exciting life.

As I look back over my previous post, I find myself at the exact same point at work. Working on year end and getting W-2's ready to mail out.

Jessica has reached the 16 year mark and in less than a month she will be 17. She has finally gotten her act together and is doing well in school. I feel really bad when she asks for help on her Algebra/Trig homework and can't help her.

John and I are sitting her watching the Packers vs. Seahawks. Not real sure who we are pulling for. Our team plays in a few hours. At this particular moment, it's great to be a Patriots fan.
